Douglas Meadows charged with impaired

************************* Forty-seven-year-old Douglas Meadows of 362 Second Avenue was arrested on the 8th of May at 7:37 p.m. on Goulais Avenue and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit.

It is alleged that City Police observed a vehicle that was travelling southbound on Goulais Avenue near Fourth Line West swerve to the shoulder and cross the centre line on two occasions.

The vehicle was stopped and officers discovered that the driver, the accused, was under the influence of alcohol.

He is to appear in court on the 9th of June.
