************************* One male arrested - Thor Lake homicide

SUDBURY, ON - On May 16, 2008, the bodies of Carolyn Carroll, age 44, of Wahnapitae and Mark Anthony Comeau, age 46, of Coniston were found deceased in a remote cabin on Thor Lake, Frechette Township, north of Capreol.

As a result of their on-going investigation, on the afternoon of Thursday, June 26, 2008, members of the Sudbury OPP Crime Unit arrested Reginald Carroll, age 45, of Wahnapitae.

Mr. Carroll is charged with two counts of first degree murder.

He will appear in Sudbury Court for a bail hearing on June 27, 2008.

Officers are continuing their investigation which is under the direction of Detective Inspector Chris Nicholas of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) of the OPP.
