************************* A 21-year-old male was arrested on the 9th of January at 9:05 p.m. at a West End residence and charged with one count of threatening death or bodily harm and two counts of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on the 9th of January at around 9:05 p.m. the accused called his ex-girlfriend and threatened to beat her up.

************************* A 37-year-old female was arrested on the 11th of January at 4:10 a.m. at a West End residence and charged with one count of public mischief, two counts of breach of a release document and one count of assault.

It is alleged that the accused was involved in a domestic dispute with her common-law partner at their residence and when police initially attended and investigated the incident, the accused advised that her partner had assaulted her.

Further investigation revealed that the accused had in fact assaulted her partner by punching and scratching him in the face area.

At the time of the incident, the accused was on a recognizance order with conditions not to communicate with or molest, harass or physically interfere with her partner.

************************* A 47-year-old male was arrested on the 10th of January at 4:40 p.m. at a centrally located residence and charged with one count of assault, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief.

It is alleged that on the 10th of January, the accused got into a verbal argument with his common-law partner at their residence and assaulted her by slapping her in the face and repeatedly threw a miniature basketball at her head.

During the dispute the accused also [allegedly] damaged a television in the residence.

************************* A 20-year-old male was arrested on the 11th of January at 5:30 a.m. at an East End residence and charged with one count of being unlawfully in a dwelling house, one count of assault and one count of mischief.

It is alleged that on the 9th of January the accused attended the residence of his ex-girlfriend, got into a verbal argument with her, and grabbed her around the arms and squeezed her and pushed her.

On the 11th of January, the accused went back to her residence while she was out and [allegedly] smashed a glass stove door.
