DNA evidence cracks old Shaw Milling break-in case

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE

**************************** Yesterday, with the assistance of DNA evidence, the City Police arrested Trevor Seaton, age 18, of 449 Charles Street for a break and enter from August of 2003.

On August 11th, 2003 City Police responded to a break and enter to Shaw Milling on Bruce Street.

Thieves had gained entry to the building and an undisclosed amount of money had been taken.

Further investigation by officers from the Investigation Services Section and the Forensic Unit resulted in a match between a suspect and trace evidence that had been left behind at the scene.

Mr. Seaton will appear in court on August 9.
