NEWS RELEASE

SAULT YOUTH ASSOCIATION

***************************** SAULT STE. MARIE - (December 4) - Conversations between friends create great ideas.

Lisa Vezeau-Allen and Nicole Gajda (life long friends and fellow fashionistas) were discussing their involvement with local youth and decided that we nurture and train them about resume writing, job searching and interview skills - but forget to complete the package with proper business attire.

We will also assist in the “makeover” process and end the confusion of formal business, casual Friday and why a “hoodie” is never good business taste.

Many thanks to our supporters to date: Algoma Family Services (Savvy Seconds), The Fashion Shop, Maureen Dodd and staff at United Way and Zoltan Virag as well as many private citizens who dug into their closets!

- Free business attire for young men and women

- Clothing to help with the new job

- Zero cost to participants, no referral needed

- Donations are needed on an ongoing basis

This program is a project of the Sault Youth Association.

Lisa and Nicole cannot wait to show off some “before and after” shots, to be featured in the Winter 2010 issue of The Fresh Magazine!

Drop off location: Suite 607, Station Tower

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (call and arrange evening or weekend time)
