SooToday.com has received the following note from faithful reader Duane Roy in Wawa.

The Castle Farms castle in Charlevoix in Northern Michigan was constructed in 1918 by Albert Loeb, who at the time was acting president of Sears, Roebuck, and Company. Loeb built the model farm as a showcase for award-winning livestock and the latest farm equipment sold through the Sears and Roebuck catalog. ************************* Hello:

I am currently compiling information for a book about Castle Farms (in Charlevoix, Michigan).

The book would detail the concert history of the venue, its fans and their stories.

Not sure if this is interview-worthy for Sootoday.com but it would help to get my call for information out there.

Charlevoix was a popular concert spot for many Sault natives and I'm sure there are lots of stories, pictures, ticket stubs out there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Duane Roy, Wawa [email protected] **************************
