NEWS RELEASES
************************* Thefts
- A deposit bag with deposit slips was stolen out of a vehicle parked at the Essar Centre Saturday night.
- A vehicle parked at a residence in the 500 block of Fourth Line East was entered sometime on Friday night. An iPod and a Navigon GPS were reported stolen.
************************* Break and enters
- Police attended at Algoma Business Computers on Trunk Road on the 24th of January after the alarm went off at approximately 11:57 p.m. When officers arrived, they discovered that the business had been broken into. They searched the area but could not locate any suspects. Police feel that a vehicle may have been involved and left the area just prior to their arrival. It is not known at this time what was stolen.
- The Achievement House Store Office on Broos Road was entered sometime between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Candy, chocolate bars, cookies and gum were reported stolen.
************************* Mischief reports
- A door at the northwest entrance at White Pines High School was damaged sometime overnight on the 23rd of January.
- A window of a residence on Albert Street West was broken around 12:13 a.m. on Saturday night.
