David charged with stealing groceries

NEWS RELEASE SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE ************************* On January 29 at approximately 10 p.m., officers observed a male walking out of Metro at 275 Second Line West carrying a shopping basket full of groceries, none of them in bags.

On January 29 at approximately 10 p.m., officers observed a male walking out of Metro at 275 Second Line West carrying a shopping basket full of groceries, none of them in bags.
 
Upon approaching the male it was found that he could not produce a receipt for the groceries.
 
The total value of the groceries was $266.52.
 
45-year-old David Moore of Korah Road was charged with one count of theft under $5000 and will be appearing in court on March 3.
