"Sometimes I feel like giving up however, our daughter Sanchia, is always very diligent at collecting the funds" Herma told OLG prize entre staff when they collected their prize cheque for $12.5 million. I have a routine, of purchasing our tickets every Thursday for the draw. On Saturday, morning I went to the local convenience store and checked the OLG self-checker and could not believe my eyes. Wilfred, 71, and Herma, 67, both retired have been married for 45 years and have four adult children, twin girls and two boys, and six grandchildren.

When asked how they were going to spend their newfound wealth, Wilfred commented "We were happy before and we hope to continue to be happy. Nothing will change too much for us. In today I'm wearing a sweater formerly owned by my son, and I see no reason why he shouldn't continue to pass them down to me," he chuckled.

Sanchia, 38, said she's happy that she'll be able to continue to provide for her son.

The winning ticket was a Quick-Pick purchased at Max Milk located on Plains Road in Burlington.
