Darwin Lee: 1943-2009

************************* LEE Darwin Kenneth - Born April 13, 1943, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Darwin Lee of Delta, B.C. peacefully passed away in ICU at Chilliwack General Hospital with his family by his side on February 20, 2009 in his 65th year.

Loving husband of Diane (Field).

Dear father of sons Sean (Masayo) and Chris (Jen and daughter Kyla).

Proud Grampa of Brandon.

Dear brother of Pat Knight (Joe), Wayne (Audrey) and Gary.

Darwin is predeceased by his mom Evelyn (Thompson), father Percy and his beloved Border Collie Cody.

He will be sadly missed by all his family, many friends and puppy Toby, and will always be remembered for his dry sense of humour.

He was a print-ad artist with the Sault Star, Quebec Chronicle, Medicine Hat News, the Vancouver Province and Vrlak Robinson Advertising.

Darwin was a truly gifted artist and his memories remain with us in his unique paintings.

In addition to his art, Darwin loved old cars, and enjoyed his street rod adventures in his '27 Model T Ford truck and '41 Ford 1/2 ton pickup.

There will be no service.

An informal gathering of friends and family only will be held on March 14, 2009 at 4 p.m. at Studio FiftySeven-Twelve, 5712 192nd Street, Cloverdale, B.C., 604-538-9681.

Donations may be made to Canuck Place Children's Hospice.
