Dad gets smacked. Cops arrest his son

************************* A 34-year-old male was arrested at a West End residence on the 23rd of January at 2:30 a.m. and charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief.

It is alleged that on the 22nd of January around 10:40 p.m., the accused was at the residence of his parents when he got into a verbal argument with them and assaulted his 67-year-old father by punching him several times in the chest and head area.

It is further alleged that the accused also damaged a bedroom door by knocking it down.

The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention.

The accused is to appear in court on the 3rd of March.
