'Critical' workplace injury at Algoma Steel under investigation

Ministry of Labour says worker reportedly found on floor with head injury last week

The Ministry of Labour has launched an investigation after it was notified of a 'critical injury/incident' at Algoma Steel July 5. 

A spokesperson for the ministry informed SooToday via email that a worker was reportedly found on the floor with a head injury. 

An investigator from the ministry has been assigned to look into the incident

The investigation is ongoing.
