Crime wave hits Goulais River

GOULAIS RIVER, ON - OPP in Sault Ste. Marie were advised of several acts of damage in the Highway 552 East area on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

It appears that someone removed some emergency numbers and mailboxes from the end of driveways on Bellevue Valley Road in Goulais River.

At about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday morning a homeowner in the 500 area of Highway 552 East had a front window smashed by someone throwing an object at the window.

Later in the morning a resident in the same area of Highway 552 East reported damage to the tin roof of his house by someone throwing a large rock at the roof.
