CRIME STOPPERS

************************* Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie OPP need your help in capturing criminals that have committed a rash of break and enters north and east of the Sault.

Starting on May 1, thieves attended residences in Aweres, Fenwick, and Vankoughnet Townships as well as Mission Road on the Batchewana First Nation.

Windows were damaged and an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry were stolen from these homes.

On May 6, a break-in to a residence in the 700 block of Cemetery Road in Laird Township was reported.

Thieves left with a laptop computer, a portable DVD player, two Sony Play Station 2s, a DVD player and beer.

The following day, a pickup truck and garage in the 300 block of Mission Road were broken into.

A wallet, chainsaw, and a GPS system were reported stolen.
