************************* The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a robbery.

On September 24 at approximately 10 p.m. a female was walking in the 400 block of Bay Street.

The victim was struck a number of times in the back of the head and knocked to the ground.

An unknown male stole her purse and ran.

The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention.

The male suspect is described as in his 20s, 5’4”-5’8”, slim build, wearing baggy pants and a gray hoodie.
