Creepy kid terrifies mall patrons (6 photos)

Three-year-old Kailyn Brown really likes Halloween. So much so, that Kailyn didn't pick flowers or butterflies to have painted on her face at the Sault Arts Council's Halloween House, located at the Station Mall's Scotia Bank entrance. Nope.

Three-year-old Kailyn Brown really likes Halloween.

So much so, that Kailyn didn't pick flowers or butterflies to have painted on her face at the Sault Arts Council's Halloween House, located at the Station Mall's Scotia Bank entrance.

Nope.

Kailyn chose the creepiest design she could find, possibly inspired by the eerie moans, clangs and clatters that echoed through the mall from the haunted maze.

Members of White Pines' Grade 10 theatre troupe, On Stage conceived and constructed the Halloween House and also played the roles of various ghouls, goblins and witches.

In addition to the scary maze, Halloween House also offers freaky face painting, creepy kids' crafts and colouring contests, and horrifying Halloween portraits.

Halloween House continues today until 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.

All proceeds from the event go to support the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District.
