Could the long-rumoured Montana's be a real thing?

We've been hearing about the possibility of a Montana's opening in the Sault since at least 2015.

Montana’s looks to be preparing to open a restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie this summer, according to job postings found on the Employment Solutions website

Officials from the Cara group of restaurants, which owns and operates several restaurant chains, including Swiss Chalet and Harvey’s, were not immediately available for comment Friday.

The Employment Solutions job postings, seeking applications for a Montana’s BBQ and Bar general manager and a kitchen manager, state ‘Montana`s BBQ and Bar is coming to the Sault this summer,’ with job applications due by Apr. 25.

It is not yet known exactly when the restaurant will open or where it will be located.

Cara has Montana's locations in all of the other major cities in northern Ontario.
