BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION, ON – A home on Corbeil Point Road was entered sometime during the day yesterday.

The only item stolen was a dozen eggs from the fridge.

************************* Driver hits deer

MACDONALD, MERIDETH, ABERDEEN TWP – A driver travelling southbound on Highway 17 East struck a deer yesterday morning that jumped out from the ditch.

The pickup truck received minor damage and the driver was not injured.

The deer was killed.
