Beginning in March of 2016, the Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association undertook its first ever major fundraising campaign, to support ARCH in enhancing their ability to provide Pediatric Palliative Care. The association named this campaign Project Dragonfly.

“The Association, and some of its members, have undertaken numerous fundraising activities over the past year to raise money for this cause. It’s been a really amazing initiative to be a part of,” explained Adam Pinder, executive director of the Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association.

One of the many fundraising initiatives saw the association sell Project Dragonfly stickers for vehicles owned by association members. This demonstrated the unified effort of members, even amongst those that are competitors. “There are many things that our members don’t always agree on, however, supporting an organization like ARCH is one that received unanimous support.”

“We are extremely grateful for the generosity that was shown by so many people within our organization. From donations and participation in events, to volunteer hours, there are so many people who chipped in to make this venture a success. We are so happy to be a part of the funds that allowed ARCH’s expansion to become a reality.”
