Bargaining continues today under a media blackout between Ontario's 24 community colleges and their 7,000 support staff, members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union.

A strike could begin Monday.

Sault College has advised its students that its facilities will remain open and classes will continue as scheduled in he event of labour action, although reduced or delayed services or hours might occur in some areas.

"We expect that you, as a student, attend classes. The college will be open and classes will be conducted," administrators said in a letter to students.

Sault College residences will not be affected if there is a strike.
