************************* Garden River First Nation protest

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to remind the public about the planned protest organized today by the Garden River First Nation.

The protest will take place at the city limits of Highway 17 and 17b east of the Sault from 1 – 2 p.m. The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will be monitoring the protest and working with the organizers, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Batchewana First Nation Police to ensure a safe and lawful protest.
