************************* Yesterday morning, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended in Hamilton, Ontario and arrested a 22-year-old male on several warrants.

It is alleged that on October 15, 2009 the accused threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and then damaged her cell phone.

It is further alleged that on October 30, 2009 the accused was in possession of a prohibited weapon (bear mace) and assaulted a male by spraying it into his face.

The victim required medical assistance after being sprayed with the bear mace.

The accused is charged with one count of threatening death, one count of mischief, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon, one count of using an offensive volatile substance and one count of failing to appear for identification.
