City parking restrictions remain in effect as crews clean streets

Public Works and Engineering Services would like to inform residents that the street sweeping program has begun. Crews are working seven days a week removing sand from streets and sidewalks.  

Under By-law 77-200-5(14), parking of vehicles on city streets is not permitted from Nov. 1 to April 30 between midnight and 6 a.m. Parking infractions outside regular business hours are enforced by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Special Constables from NORPRO.
