City outdoor rinks closed for the season

Winter is officially over for all four outdoor rinks

Outdoor ice rinks operated by the City of Sault Ste. Marie are now closed for the season due to weather conditions.

These rinks include:

  • Esposito Rink – Queen Street West
  • Merrifield Rink – Henrietta Street
  • Anna McCrea Rink – Mark Street
  • Art Jennings Speed Skating Oval – Elizabeth Street

Indoor public ice skating is available at the John Rhodes Community Centre Arena and the W.J. McMeeken Centre. Sledge skating is also available at the John Rhodes Community Centre Arena. Visit saultstemarie.ca/skating for schedules.
