City Council bumped by Hounds home game

City Council decided tonight to reschedule its 2008 budget input session. Because Soo Greyhounds are playing that night. The budget meeting was originally scheduled for 4:30 p.m. next Monday.

City Council decided tonight to reschedule its 2008 budget input session.

Because Soo Greyhounds are playing that night.

The budget meeting was originally scheduled for 4:30 p.m. next Monday.

But Game 4 of the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series between the Sault and Kitchener is also on that night, at 7 p.m.

It's a home game for the Hounds, and Shaw Cable was committed to the hockey game.

So councillors decided tonight to reschedule until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.

If necessary, a second meeting will be held the following day.
