City Council approves talks on Henry library

Any decision on proceeding with the Alexander Henry branch library must be brought back to City Council for final approval.

City Council will deal with the future of the East End library at Churchill Plaza separately at its next meeting on April 25.

City Council tonight authorized the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library to enter discussions with Algoma District School Board regarding a new library branch at the former Alexander Henry High School site.

Any decision on whether to proceed with the joint project must come back to City Council for approval.

City Council is expected to discuss the future of the East End library branch at Churchill Plaza as a separate issue at its next meeting on April 25.
