************************* Collision involving pedestrian and motor vehicle results in charges
On the 29th of September at 9:37 p.m., officers attended at a motor vehicle, pedestrian collision on McNabb Street and Willow Avenue.
It is alleged that a 63-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Willow Avenue in an eastbound direction, with the crosswalk signal activated, when she was struck by a Dodge car that was turning from McNabb Street onto Willow Avenue.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old female driver was charged with one count of failing to yield to pedestrian.
