************************* Motor vehicle collision with injuries at Great Northern Road and McNabb Street

City Police and Fire Services responded to a motor vehicle collision yesterday morning at 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Great Northern Road at McNabb Street that one male driver, who had to be extracted from his vehicle, to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is alleged that the driver of a Ford vehicle that was proceeding northbound on Great Northern Road failed to stop for the red light at McNabb Street and struck a Toyota vehicle that had been travelling eastbound on McNabb Street.

The driver of the Ford, 42 year-old Sylvie Beaulieu of 1406 Third Line East, was charged with one count of fail to stop for red light under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
