Changes at FJ Davey Home (update)

F.J. Davey Home access during construction and transit service...

As of Thursday, August 27, access to the main entrance off Third Line will be relocating.

Access will be from the east, only, via Third Line and Old Garden River Road and Black Road.

The City Transit bus will also be rerouted directly to/from Great Northern Road via the existing access roadway behind the former Davey Home.

************************* Sault Ste. Marie transit service disruption

SAULT STE. MARIE - (August 26) - Sault Ste. Marie Transit Division advises that the Cedar Heights transit route and Community Bus “B” service to the F.J. Davey Home will be temporarily disrupted due to Third Line road construction.

Buses will be unable to access the front entrance of the F.J. Davey Home.

There will be a temporary bus stop on the Northern Treatment Centre access road between the F.J. Davey Home and the Great Northern Nursing Centre (former F.J. Davey Home).

This detour is expected to continue for approximately four weeks.

Visitors to, and residents of, the F.J. Davey Home should contact the Transit Division at 759-5438 or the F.J. Davey Home at 942-2204 if further assistance or information is required.

There will be no disruption of Parabus service to the front entrance of the F.J. Davey Home.

Sault Transit apologizes for any inconvenience to passengers.
