Central Algoma area school buses cancelled today

Algoma & Huron-Superior Student Transportation Services have announced this morning that due to the poor road conditions and in the interest of safety all school transportation is cancelled for all schools in the Central Algoma Area.  This includes Echo Bay, Desbarats, Bruce Mines, St. Joe's Island and Thessalon. All schools remain open.

Also, all school bus routes servicing Mountain View Public School in Goulais River are cancelled today as well due to the poor road conditions.  This includes routes G16, G17, G18, G20, G21, G22 and H2.  The school is open.
