************************* St. Andrew Bobola Polish Catholic Church – Celebrating 50 years of faith, history, and Polish heritage
The faith community of St. Andrew Bobola Polish Catholic Church will be celebrating 50 years since the blessing of the church grounds on Friday, June 18, 2010.
This special occasion will be marked with a celebration of Holy Mass at 6 p.m. with Bishop Jean-Louis Plouffe as the main celebrant.
Four former pastors who served our parish since the 1980’s will be in attendance and will be traveling from Sudbury and Southwestern Ontario.
The head of the Michaelite Fathers Rev. Andrew Kowalczyk, and our current parish priest, Father Boguslaw Jaroszek will also be co-celebrating the mass.
A sold-out dinner reception will follow in the parish hall where parishioners and guests will listen to various speakers who will review the church’s rich cultural and spiritual history.
Parishioners of all ages will take part in this special occasion.
The Polish community looks forward to marking this important milestone. *************************
