Cause of Dennis Street garage fire not yet determined

No injuries reported in Monday morning blaze that also damaged some nearby structures

Shortly before 7 a.m. yesterday, fire crews responded to a garage fire on Dennis Street.

"Upon arrival, there were visible flames from the detached garage structure," says a news release issued today by Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services. "Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire."

The garage sustained significant damage, and a number of adjacent structures were also damaged.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determine and no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
