Carrie charged with stomping Humane Society staffer

*********************** Yesterday afternoon 41-year-old Carrie Joy Jones of 84 Letcher Street attended at the Humane Society on Second Line East to pick up her stray dog.

She was asked to pay a pound fee and refused.

At this time she assaulted a staff member by pushing him, kicking him and stomping on his feet.

She then took her dog and fled.

The accused was apprehended a short distance away on Second Line and eventually charged with one count of assault at the police station.

She is to appear in court on the 21st of August.

The employee of the Humane Society did not require medical attention.
