NEWS RELEASE
SAULT COMMUNITY CAREER CENTRE
*************************
For almost 30 years, the Sault Community Career Centre’s mission has been to improve people’s lives by helping them become and stay employed and to help businesses find lasting solutions to their staffing needs.

As our community faces a new challenge, the Sault Community Career Centre is still here to help. You may not be able to visit us in person, but we are now offering free services to Sault Ste. Marie’s job seekers and employers over the phone and through email, text, and other digital platforms.

The Sault Community Career Centre continues to offer free one-on-one support to job seekers to help find a job, get training, or build skills. Our clients work one-on-one with experienced staff who can provide job search assistance, including direct connections to employers.

We can assist with resume and cover letter development, online applications, and education and training exploration. We will be announcing online workshops, job fairs, and hiring events for job seekers over the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

The Sault Community Career Centre continues to offer free one-on-one support to employers to meet their immediate and future needs. Employers can take advantage of free services, financial incentives, customized training supports, funding, and specialized programs to help them recruit, hire, and train employees for their business, not-for-profit, or public sector organization.

We can also assist employees who have been temporarily laid off by providing referrals to service providers and government programs.

Job seekers and employers interested in our services can reach us at 705.759.0909, [email protected], or over social media, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  For more information about the Sault Community Career Centre, please visit us here
