************************* Male in possession of firearms arrested at Canada Customs

Sixty-seven-year-old William Scratch of 1409 County Road in Wheatley Ontario was arrested at Canada Customs on Huron Street on the 7th of October at 10:55 a.m. and charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

It is alleged that around 8:34 a.m. yesterday morning, the accused attempted to enter into Canada at the International Bride with two rifles in his possession that he did not have authorization to possess.

He is to appear in court on the 30th of November.
