********************* Korah 40th Anniversary Reunion - October 30, 2007

Hey, it’s been 40 years!

For those of us that have many fond memories of our Korah years we felt that to help celebrate its 40th, it is time to put out the call to our fellow alumni to come home this Thanksgiving.

Back to Sault Ste. Marie, family, friends, and Korah.

This is the year of celebration, of remembrance, of catching up on all those years since graduation!

What are you doing this October?

The Korah 40th Anniversary Reunion Committee warmly extend an invitation to reminisce with us this October 5,6 and 7th 2007.

Korah Collegiate and Vocational School has been educating thousands of the youth of the Sault Ste. Marie and area for the past 40 years.

It opened its doors in the year that Canada celebrated its centennial, 1967.

That was pretty special, at least we think so.

We hold a lot of memories during our years as students at Korah.

Many of these are good ones, full of time spent with friends, cheering for the Colts at a game (whipping up some good old fashioned school spirit at a pep rally!), a myriad of dances, carnivals… the list just goes on.

Oh yeah, we got a pretty good education too.

There are teachers that stand out in one’s mind for one reason or another.

Our lives were touched in countless ways by those that stood at the front of the classroom and tried (and some really had to work hard) to reach across the barrier of ignorance and spark the light of knowledge and understanding in a classroom full of students who would rather be somewhere else.

The most amazing thing is that some of those treasured men and women still teach at Korah.

Many have moved on to other schools, others to retirement.
