CANADIAN BUSHPLANE HERITAGE CENTRE

************************* An Evening With Amelia

Wednesday, October 28 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Adult Admission $5

A special event, An Evening with Amelia celebrates the life of Amelia Earhart and the bushplane museum’s recent acquisition of the Fokker Tri-Engine aircraft used in the 2009 Fox Searchlight movie Amelia, starring Hilary Swank and Richard Gere.

An Evening with Amelia will feature a dramatic presentation starring Kathie Brosemer celebrating the life of Amelia Earhart, the famous female pilot who disappeared in 1937 while circumnavigating the globe.

Visitors will be introduced to a replica of Earhart’s Fokker Tri-Engine plane, Friendship, flown during her first trans-Atlantic flight and used in the movie Amelia, premiering in theatres October 23.

Guests may have their pictures taken in the actual cockpit used by Hilary Swank and visit the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.
