The White House is saying his morning that President George W. Bush will probably skip the Republican National Convention on Monday to give his full attention to Hurricane Gustav.
The president was scheduled to address the convention in St. Paul, Minnesota on Monday night.
Bush is shown on the phone yesterday talking to Texas Governor Rick Perry about the major storms that are expected to hit the U.S. Gulf Coast as a result of Gustav.
The Associated Press is reporting that the president's travel plans, to be confirmed later today, may include a visit to the Gulf Coast and a convention address delivered by videoconferencing.
