Bus terminal to reopen on Monday

Physical distancing measures will be in place and only 10 people will be permitted in the terminal at once

As of Monday, the Sault's bus terminal will be open to the public again.

In a news release issued today, the city confirmed that as of Oct. 19, the terminal will welcome members of the public with certain public health measures and modifications in effect, including:   

  • Spaced seating to ensure physical distancing 
  • Mandatory masking    
  • Only 10 people will be permitted in the terminal at one time
  • Food purchased from the concession stand must be consumed outside the terminal
  • Social distancing stickers will be in place

The terminal has been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
