Burglar hits Gigi's

************************* Break and enter

A break-in was reported at Gigi’s restaurant located at 7 Great Northern Road.

The incident is said to have occurred at approximately 2:18 a.m. on the 14th of March.

It is not known at this time if anything was taken.

************************** An attempted break and enter to a garage in the 200 block of Glasgow Avenue was reported on the 15th of March.

************************** A car was reported entered in the 100 block of Palace Drive on the 15th of March.

The interior was ransacked and the culprit(s) made off with a quantity of loose change.

************************** A purse was reported stolen on March 13 from the Essar Centre during the Greyhound Game.

************************** A wallet was reported taken from the Essar Centre on Sunday March 15 from one of the dressing rooms.

************************** The recent warm weather and melting combined with puddles has made walking for pedestrians somewhat messy.

Please slow down and be aware of people on the sidewalks and puddles in the curb lanes.
