It's official. The Rockstar Bar, Sault Ste. Marie's newest downtown watering hole, opened for business last night with a capacity celebration featuring the Sault's own country outlaws, the Billy Bastards.

The Rockstar Bar, Sault Ste. Marie's newest downtown watering hole, opened for business last night with a capacity celebration featuring the Sault's own country outlaws, the Billy Bastards.

The new venue kicked off with a bang, as huge lineups of eager patrons waited outside to gain entry for the majority of the evening.

The Billy Bastards' popularity and twangy tales of debauchery paired with a fresh, newly renovated entertainment hotspot was a definite winning combination.

Located in the Algonquin Hotel at 864 Queen Street East, the Rockstar Bar presents weekly DJ dance music and live bands Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
