Bruising, soreness and a knife in the wall

On July 5, 2014 at approximately 6:30 p.m. it is alleged that a male attended at his girlfriend’s apartment after consuming alcohol. 

An argument ensued and as a result the male punched the victim in the chin and in the thigh resulting in bruising and soreness. 

The male then caused damage to a wall by sticking a knife into it.

On July 7, 2014 the accused turned himself in at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. 

The accused was charged with assault and mischief and will appear in bail court on July 8, 2014 at 10 a.m.
