Bruce St crash sends one to hospital

************************* City Police attended at a motor vehicle collision on the 23rd of January that occurred around 4 p.m. on Bruce Street that sent one male to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

It is alleged that the driver of a Chev pickup that was traveling northbound on Bruce Street attempted to turn into a driveway, cutting off a Volkswagen that was traveling southbound on Bruce Street, resulting in the collision.

The 31-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen was the driver injured in the collision. The driver of the Chev pick up, 76-year-old Mario Diodati of 31 Cathcart Street was charged with one count of turn not in safety under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontatio.

The pick-up truck was moderately damage while the Volkswagen was severely damaged.
