British Conservative leader David Cameron today became prime minister of the United Kingdom following the resignation of Gordon Brown.
Cameron, 43, entered 10 Downing Street after visiting Buckingham Palace to formally accept the Queen's request that he form the next government.
Cameron leads a minority coalition government dependent on support from the Liberal Democrats.
