Bridge replacement to close Highway 638 in Rydal Bank

The Thessalon River Bridge is being replaced, forcing a two-week closure of Highway 638 in Rydal Bank.

The closure will begin at 7 a.m. on June 15, with an expected reopening of June 30, says a notice from Miller Paving Ltd.

During the closure, no vehicles or pedestrian traffic will be permitted across the Thessalon River Bridge.

Motorists are advised that a detour will be in place along Plummer Road/Highway 638 with signage posted.
