INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE ADMINISTRATION

************************* The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 176,864 for the month of June, 2008.

This represents an increase of 2.5 percent as compared to June, 2007.

Traffic for calendar year 2008 has totaled 925,230 vehicles; this represents an increase of 5.4 percent as compared to 2007.

Since the bridge opened in 1962, over 85.5 million vehicles have crossed the structure.
