INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE ADMINISTRATION

************************* The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 172,628 for the month of June, 2007.

This represents an increase of 2.3 percent as compared to June, 2006.

Traffic for calendar year 2007 has totaled 877,797 vehicles; this represents a decrease of 1.75 percent as compared to 2006.

Since the bridge opened in 1962, over 83.5 million vehicles have crossed the structure.
