PUC in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is inviting the public to participate in a public information night. The event will be held at the Centennial Library on Nov. 8 starting at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the evening is to provide customers with information on how their PUC bill is set, a breakdown of the components of the bill, and to share some simple ways they can conserve energy and reduce their electricity burden.

“We understand customers concern with the high costs of electricity, and we want to do our part to ensure that they understand how the prices are set and provide some tips to control their energy usage,” says Giordan Zin, Manager of Customer Engagement and Corporate Communications. “It’s important to us that we get out in the community and engage with our customers in an open and accessible environment.”

PUC and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library welcomes anyone who is interested in learning how the cost of electricity is determined and what they can do to reduce their energy usage, to attend this educational and interactive evening.

The town hall will be hosted at the Centennial Library (50 East St) Study Area from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. Light refreshments will be available. For more information, please contact the PUC at 705-759-6522.
