Break-in reported at Gore Street business

NEWS RELEASE

************************* City Police attended to an attempted break and enter at the Rocky Laundromat on Gore Street around 12:19 a.m.

A witness reported seeing three youths, all dressed in dark clothing, attempting to break in.

When officers arrived, the youths were gone from the area.

They discovered glass on the front door smashed.

It did not appear entry was gained.

Officers checked the area with negative results.

A break and enter was reported to a residence on Third Line West yesterday that occurred between the hours of 1:20 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

A Sony Surround System and some jewellery were reported stolen.

Neighbours reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area during that time.

The vehicle was described as an older blue El Camino or Ranchero type, possibly a Chev or Ford.
