Sault Ste. Marie's Brad Jacobs finds himself just two wins away from a Tim Hortons Brier championship.
Jacobs and his rink from the Soo Curlers Association, representing Northern Ontario in Halifax, finished second overall after the round robin and will face Ontario's Glenn Howard in the 1-2 page playoff game on Friday at 6:30 p.m. on TSN.
A win would vault Jacobs into the final on Sunday night while a loss would mean the team remains alive but will fall into Saturday night's semi-final.
